Manufacturing

Aluminum panels are a framework of extruded aluminum sections with welding to aluminum sheet. It makes a panel lightweight with best stiffness. Each panel can be made in standard sizes as well as non standard sizes to suit the requirement of design. The panels are product of high quality aluminum alloy. The thickness of the panel is a 4mm, on a framework of specially designed extruded sections & duly welded.

Our System

Windoor is a revolutionary aluminium formwork manufacturing company for forming cast in place reinforced concrete building structures. Using this unique system, all walls, floor slabs, columns, beams, stairs, balconies, together with door and window openings are cast in place in a single site based operation. The resulting building structure is very strong, accurate in dimensions and tolerances, with a high quality of finished concrete surface and yet at the same time the aluminium formwork is fast, adaptable and very cost effective.

Unlike other construction systems, the Windoor formwork can be erected by skilled labour and without the need for hoisting cranes. The largest panel weighs no more than 25 kilograms which means it can be handled by a single worker. The panels and other sections are secured and fixed by steel pins and wedges with spacer ties. The only tool required is a hammer.

Normally one "set" of aluminum formwork system for a typical project / building would consist of several thousand individual pieces of aluminium sections which will be connected together and produce a "mould" for concrete pouring to cast the various structural components of the building. The Aluminum Formworks can be used upto 150-200 times.

With its lightweight and a highly efficient work schedule, a Windoor formwork can construct a building at the rate of 4 to 5 days per floor as compared to 10 to 15 days per floor for conventional systems.

Windoor Aluminum Formwork System Vs Conventional System

Traditionally, timber and plywood were used as formworks for the construction of concrete structures. It is still the most widely used medium as it is the most versatile since they can form the most intricate shapes and forms of the structures. However, it needs many skilled and unskilled workers besides being very time consuming. In today's competitive market, speed, quality and efficiency is of primary importance.

In view of this, many various construction systems in steel have been in use over years. However, all these systems are not "complete" systems, in that they are able to form only parts of the building structures such as the walls/ column/ beam/ lift core, etc. , none is capable of producing complete floor/ structure in single pour.

With introduction of the Windoor FormworkFormwork System you can cast a complete floor including walls, floor slabs, balconies, staircases, lift shafts, window hoods, as well as columns and beams.

Advantages for Indian Companies

Saving on import taxes etc.

Saving on transportation charges.

Refurbishing of equipment is easily possible

When modification of equipment is required to use the equipment in another project then again there is a saving of 2 times of transportation and also import taxes.

If the equipment gets damaged on site and any repair that is required can be easily and immediately dealt with.

Advantages of using Windoor Formwork System are :

Speed

Windoor Aluminium Formwork System completes the entire structure of multi-storey buildings at the rate of four days per floor and single/double storey housing at the rate of one house per day.

Quality

The flat, off-the-form finish produced by the Windoor Formwork System simply requires a 2-3mm skim coat before decoration, thus eliminating the need for plastering. In addition, all the elements of the building are accurately dimensioned and are vertical, horizontal and square in plan and section as intended, so that remedial works to correct inaccuracies are eliminated.
Windoor Formwork System enables all concrete to be cast monolithically, thereby eliminating joints, which in turn is beneficial in avoiding leakages.

Safety

The system provides an inherent safety features in the use of props which need not be removed to release the slab forms. Overlooking of re-propping is one of the most common causes of fatal accidents on building sites.

Labour Problem

The Windoor Formwork System not only eliminates the need for skilled plasterers as noted above, but it also eliminates the need for skilled carpenters and Fitters. Projects have often been seriously delayed because of the unavailability of these skilled trades.

Scaffolding

The need to carry the cost of scaffolding for the construction of the structure is eliminated, as theWindoorSystem provides its own work platform brackets, which ascend the building as it being constructed. There is the added advantage that the infrastructure can now proceed in parallel with the building construction, as the contractor has unimpeded access to the base of the building

Cranage

The complete system can be erected and dismantled without cranes, using unskilled labour equipped only with hammers.
